Refund and Cancellation Policy

Thank you for choosing Surya Prasad Nayak for your creative design and video editing needs. My goal is to provide high-quality services that meet your expectations. This policy outlines the terms regarding project cancellations and refunds.

This policy applies to all services provided by Surya Prasad Nayak ("I", "me", "my") through the website www.suryaprasadnayak.in.

1. Cancellation Policy

a) Client Cancellation

Before Work Begins: If you (the "Client") choose to cancel a project before any work has commenced, any deposit or advance payment made will be refunded.

After Work Has Begun: If you (the "Client") choose to cancel a project after work has commenced, you will be billed for all work completed up to the point of cancellation. Any advance payments will be applied to this final invoice. If the advance payment exceeds the amount for work completed, no refund will be issued. If the work completed exceeds the advance payment, you will be required to pay the remaining balance.

b) Cancellation by Surya Prasad Nayak

  • In the unlikely event that I am unable to complete your project due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., illness, family emergency), I will notify you immediately.
  • I will provide a full refund of any and all payments or deposits made for the project.
  • Alternatively, we may agree to pause the project and resume at a later, mutually-agreed-upon date.

2. Refund Policy

a) General Terms

  • As a provider of creative and digital services, my work is based on time, effort, and expertise.
  • Payments for services rendered are non-refundable. Once work is completed and/or delivered as per the project agreement, you are not eligible for a refund.
  • All initial deposits are non-refundable. The deposit secures your spot in my project schedule and covers the cost of initial consultation, project setup, and resources.

b) Client Dissatisfaction

  • I am committed to your satisfaction. If you are not satisfied with a draft or completed work, please contact me immediately.
  • I do not offer refunds based on dissatisfaction with the final product.
  • Instead, I will make every reasonable effort to address your concerns through a set number of revisions, as specified in our project agreement or proposal. Revisions are limited to two (2) rounds of minor revisions.
  • Major scope changes or re-work beyond the initial agreement will be subject to a new quote or additional fees.

c) Non-delivery

If I fail to deliver the agreed-upon services within the specified timeline (and without a mutually agreed-upon extension), you may be entitled to a full or partial refund, to be determined on a case-by-case basis after review.

3. Project Abandonment

If I do not hear from you (the "Client") for a period of 30 days after a request for feedback, files, or communication, I will consider the project abandoned. In this case, no refunds will be issued for any payments made, and you will be invoiced for any work completed to date.

4. Policy Changes

I reserve the right to modify this Refund and Cancellation Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
